Aromatherapy Recipes Your Clients Will Love

Good smells – like the ones at Cinnabon – entice customers and keep them coming back. One of the reasons people love going to a spa is because certain scents are pleasant, which can help boost mood and promote relaxation.  Many people also like aromatherapy because it has been shown to help relieve stress, anxiety, and depression.

1. Spa In Paradise

Diffuser – Fill diffuser with water. For every 1 oz. of water, add these essential oils: two drops of sandalwood, two drops of ylang-ylang, five drops of sweet orange and two drops of ginger.

Massage Oil, Cream, or Lotion – Mix 4 oz. of unscented oil, cream, or lotion with these essential oils: one drop of sandalwood, one drop of ylang-ylang, three drops of sweet orange and one drop of ginger.

Polish or Scrub – Mix 8 oz. of salt or sugar with 4 tablespoons of a carrier oil of your choice. Stir until well blended. Add the following essential oils: five drops of sandalwood, five drops of ylang-ylang, 10 drops of sweet orange and two drops of ginger.

2. Sweet Sun Tea

Diffuser – Fill diffuser with water. For every 1 oz. of water, add these essential oils: 10 drops of sweet orange, 10 drops of lemon and two drops of French lavender.

Massage Oil, Cream, or Lotion – Mix 4 oz. of unscented oil, cream, or lotion with these essential oils: five drops of sweet orange, five drops of lemon and one drop of French lavender.

Polish or Scrub – Mix 8 oz. of salt or sugar with 4 tablespoons of a carrier oil of your choice. Stir until well blended. Add the following essential oils: 15 drops of sweet orange, 15 drops of lemon and five drops of French lavender.

3. Ocean

Diffuser – Fill diffuser with water. For every 1 oz. of water, add these essential oils: 10 drops of lemon, five drops of eucalyptus and two drops of vetiver.

Massage Oil, Cream, or Lotion – Mix 4 oz. of unscented oil, cream, or lotion with these essential oils: five drops of lemon, two drops of eucalyptus and one drop of vetiver.

Polish or Scrub – Mix 8 oz. of salt or sugar with 4 tablespoons of a carrier oil of your choice. Stir until well blended. Add the following essential oils: 10 drops of lemon, five drops of eucalyptus and two drops of vetiver.

4. Summer Romance

Diffuser –Fill diffuser with water. For every 1 oz. of water, add these essential oils: two drops of patchouli, four drops of ylang-ylang, two drops of sandalwood and 10 drops of sweet orange.

Massage Oil, Cream, or Lotion – Mix 4 oz. of unscented oil, cream, or lotion with these essential oils: one drop of patchouli, two drops of ylang-ylang, one drop of sandalwood and four drops of sweet orange.

Polish or Scrub – Mix 8 oz. of salt or sugar with 4 tablespoons of a carrier oil of your choice. Stir until well blended. Add the following essential oils: five drops of patchouli, eight drops of ylang-ylang, four drops of sandalwood and 10 drops of sweet orange.
